Chocolate Banana Bread

The best kind of bread consists of chocolate.



Banana bread is such a classic dessert. It's something I make every time I have leftover bananas. And I always have chocolate in the fridge for emergencies.. If you don't then what are you doing?


Moist on the inside, crispy on the outside - this chocolate banana nut bread really melts in your mouth and makes you wonder what else you've been missing out on life.

Recipe:


Ingredients:

1 stick softened unsalted butter

3 ripe bananas

2 eggs

2 cups flour

3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp baking soda

4 tbsp plain greek yogurt

.5 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp vanilla extract

.5 tsp salt

3/4 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 small bag of walnuts


Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.

  2. Get a bowl mash the bananas with a fork until fully mashed. Add softened butter.

  3. Now add the eggs and vanilla extract, and yogurt until well mixed.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda.

  5. Slowly add in dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

  6. Once mixed, pour chocolate chips and walnuts and fold gently until mixed.

  7. Spray a loaf pan with spray oil. Then, pour batter into loaf pan.

  8. Bake 40-50 minutes until the center of the bread is cooked. (Use a toothpick)


Enjoy this delicious bread straight out the oven with some butter and cold milk!
